Love And Kindness In The Workplace

The workplace is often the most challenging place to engage in spiritual practice.

With tons of personalities and high stress due to the demands of day-to-day existence, the workplace can not only become an impossible place to find peace, but it can also become a place that breeds toxicity.

While we can’t be responsible for the behavior of others, we can be accountable for our own.

One of the practices I love to do, especially when dealing with difficult or stressful situations and people, is the Love & Kindness Meditation.

I know, you probably don’t have time for it, or your boss would kill you if they found you meditating instead of at your desk.

I get it, but the cool thing about this practice is that you don’t need to be anywhere.

And unless your boss is somehow neuro-linked to your brain, it’s safe to say you can do this without anyone knowing.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Start by calling in the white light to surround you with positive energy; this is always a good practice so negative entities can’t attach to you (more on that in another post).

2. Say (out loud or in your head) I send love and kindness to…

3. Offer love and kindness to everyone and everything in your life, including businesses, projects, jobs, and anything you wish to have the best possible outcome for. Remember to include those who don’t wish you well and those you consider enemies. This is most important! To change a negative vibration, you must offer the mantra to those who impact your life negatively.

4. Close by offering love and kindness to yourself. This is the most crucial part. After lifting everyone else’s vibration, don’t forget to raise your own!

It isn’t a tough mantra; it doesn’t involve hours of chanting or ritual practice. What it does require is a sincere intent to bring joy to another. Through our intentions, we can create the most positive impact on others.

You will notice that the energy around you changes almost immediately. You will feel it even if you don’t see it in others.

I didn’t believe in the power of this meditation, but after watching it heal relationships I thought lost, I am officially a believer.

Don’t forget to do it at night before bed while thanking the universe for all the blessings in your life.

After a few weeks of offering love and kindness in the workplace, you’ll be surprised at how your job can become a place you can work in peace.
